Young Adults Ministry @ Calvary Chapel Kelowna is focused on "Biblical Community".
What does that mean? It means that we want to be able to "do life" together.
What doesn't it mean? It doesn't mean that we solely focus on social community.
What does the Bible have to say about community?
Biblical restoration, bearing each other's burdens
Acts 2:42–47 :
Early church, devoting themselves to Apostle's teaching, selling possessions to provide for each other's needs
Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 :
Two is better than one. One can pick the other up, if he falls.
And there are many more examples.
We desire to focus our energy and passion on God's Word, we desire to live in a way that honors him, and we desire to share the love of Jesus with others.
