Hi, thanks for taking the time to check out our website. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:12 that “the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and in
tents of the heart.” God’s word can discern the human heart and give it direction, purpose and life. This is why we believe in “simply teaching the Bible simply.” Moreover, it is through the Bible that we discover how to know God personally, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
At Calvary Chapel Kelowna we believe God’s word is timeless, powerful, always relevant, and will help any person answer the eternal questions of life. It just needs to be taught!
As we follow Christ we want to build people up to see their lives as a high calling with a purpose well beyond this world. God can take the mundane and even the miserable lives of people and transform them into masterpieces… people who see their lives, their careers, their families, and their futures through the lens of eternity. It is the Spirit of God, working through the word of God that can truly transform our lives.
